Learning for Life’s new Anti-Bullying and Cyber-Intimidation programs help educators understand the definitions and the personal, social, and legal ramifications associated with sexual harassment, bullying, and cyber-intimidation. The course will address what we know about these troubling areas, and then explore preventative strategies as well as how school staff can address these issues when they occur. A clear understanding of what constitutes harassment and the harmful effects of harassment on people and institutions is essential to providing a safe and inclusive school environment for all.
There are two programs available to schools and school districts: 1) An online Staff Development Course, which is a self-supporting program that provides instruction, structured practice, and evaluation all from your home or school computer. 2) A 3-part Educational Video Series for staff, parents, and students.
This FREE 30-minute webinar presentation of Learning for Life’s Anti-bullying & Cyber-intimidation programs will give you an overview and a live demonstration of these programs. We will also provide a brief overview of Learning for Life’s Integrated Academic and Character Education Program, as well as 10-15 minutes for live Q and A immediately following the presentation.
*All Webinar attendees will receive a free link to a 100-page digital copy of the 2010 Report: “Youth Safety on a Living Internet” by The Online Safety and Technology Working Group. Attendance certificates will also be available upon request!
We would also like to welcome you to forward this opportunity to any teachers, principals, or administrators that would also be interested in viewing these exciting new programs.
