1^st Grade

The 8 core character traits promoted in this program are: 1) Respect, 2) Responsibility, 3) Honesty/Trust, 4) Caring/Fairness, 5) Perseverance, 6) Self-Discipline, 7) Courage, and 8) Citizenship.

The 1^st Grade program consists of 61 age-appropriate lessons that focus on topics such as “Ethnic Heritage,” “Making Good Decisions,” “Conservation,” and “What is Freedom?” Life Skills lessons such as Classic Literature and Weather are also included. Reflection activities in each lesson enable students to analyze their behaviors. Lessons are easily integrated into the core curriculum. Each lesson includes a “Family/Home Activity” to reinforce learning at home.
